About The Event

Lots of us dream of sunny hacks on calm horses, stopping for lunch somewhere nice, fun canters, laughing and enjoying ourselves with friends.

The reality can often be far from it!

Hacking is one of the hardest things to do really well - why? Because you can’t control the environment, the traffic, other animals, people around you who don’t understand horses and so on. Literally anything can happen!

So what do you do to give you and your horse the best chance for that lovely relaxed hack in the sunshine (apart from move to Spain!)?

Here’s are 3 things that I would see as essential in getting a horse ready to hack as safely as possible...

  1. Schooling Prep
  2. Scary Stuff Prep
  3. Riding in Company Prep

The format will be theory sessions and small group with you and your horse. The venue benefits from a covered arena (no need to get wet!!!), large stables, big parking area with plenty of turning space, tea/coffee facilities.
